I can still remember slogging through slush and snow in mid-February Connecticut and longing for sunshine and palm trees.

Some years later I visited California and did all of the tourist stuff: Santa Monica Pier, the Hotel Del Coronado, Disneyland, etc., and I decided I absolutely had to move there as soon as possible. However, after further reflection, I realized I didn’t actually want to live in California, I wanted to live in Disneyland.

Anyway, it all boils down to the same thing:

I’ll live anywhere that’s warm and sunny. Even if it’s fictional.
