Having arrived (quite some time ago) at adulthood, I’d have to confess that it isn’t what I thought it would be when I was younger. I don’t know what I expected exactly, but it wasn’t this. I thought life would make more sense, be more fun, be a lot less serious, and involve a whole lot less work. That we would age well and, like our parents generation, evolve gracefully into being grown ups.

But here we are.
